The MARKETPLACE - How To Setup An Ad

 

 

  1. Review The MARKETPLACE Ad Categories.
  2. Registration - In order to purchase a MARKETPLACE ad, you must be a registered vendor on www.realestateud.com.
  3. Registration Information (Required) - It is important to note that you will be required to provide a phone number and email address on the Registration form. Your phone number and email address will be used by Real Estate UD for contact purposes only. They will not be published on the web site or on your ad. Refer to #13 below for information on the use of email addresses in MARKETPLACE ads.
  4. After registering, you will be directed to the My Account page. Click on the Purchase: MARKETPLACE Ad link. This link will direct you to Step 1: Vendor Agreement.
  5. Step 1: Vendor Agreement - In order to purchase a MARKETPLACE ad, you must agree to the Vendor Agreement. If you agree to the Vendor Agreement, click on the Agree button to continue with Step 2: Vendor Information.
  6. Step 2: Vendor Information - This form contains general information about you and your company.
  7. Ad Categories - With each ad you purchase, you have an opportunity to select one of the MARKETPLACE Ad Categories. If you would like to advertise in more than one Ad Category, you must purchase a new ad.
  8. Service Area - The Service Area list gives you an opportunity to select the state or states where you sell your products and services.
  9. Company Information (Phone Number) - A phone number for your company is required to purchase a MARKETPLACE Ad. This phone number will be displayed on your ad.
  10. Company Information (Company Web Site) - The Company Web Site is optional and not required to purchase a MARKETPLACE Ad. If however, you are interested in displaying an active link to your company web site in your ad, you must input your web site on the form and purchase one of the Premium Ads.
  11. Contact Information (Phone Number) - Any phone number you provide on the Contact Information section of the form will be displayed on your ad. If you do not want your phone number to be displayed, leave the phone number box empty.
  12. Contact Information (Email Address) - Your email address is required on the Contact Information section of the form. A site visitor can contact you via your email by clicking on the link , Email Contact Click Here, on your ad. This link directs the site visitor to the Contact Vendor form. Once the site visitor submits the form, you will receive an email containing information the site visitor included in the form. Use of a contact form prevents the display of your email address on the web site and eliminates any potential issues with email spam.
  13. Shopping Cart - After completing Step 2: Vendor Information, you will proceed to the Shopping Cart where you must select the type of ad you want to purchase.
  14. Confirmation - Once your ad has been processed and your credit card charge has been approved, you will be presented a confirmation. Print this web page for your records.
