SPECIFURN - Innovative Furniture Design

Limited Mobility? No Problem

It's exciting how many new products are being developed to address issues that folks encounter that have limited mobility.

Recently arrived on the scene... SPECIFURN.

Czech and German partners working together in the EUREKA Project, SPECIFURN, have designed a new line of furniture for people that have issues with mobility.

EUREKA, a European intergovernmental initiative that supports the development of innovative products, processes and services has delivered some very exciting furniture designs that address limited mobility issues.

Populations in Central and Western European countries are growing older. Consequently, governments in all European countries are increasing spending on facilities for the elderly. The SPECIFURN line of furniture is addressing a long standing need in the marketplace and the demand for related products and services.

Although the SPECIFURN Project targeted the senior community, the furniture design is quite universal in that anyone with limited mobility would benefit.
