Realtor Cathy Lewis reports, "Palm Beach County Florida has long been the place of choice for many retirement age citizens or those with special needs. The temperate climate, first rate medical facilities, entertainment and recreational facilities, employment opportunities, numerous places of worship, a diverse population and resources for seniors and individuals with disabilities make this Florida county a perfect place to live life to the fullest", says Realtor Cathy Lewis.
Cathy adds, "Palm Beach County encompasses over 2,000 square miles – that’s larger than either Rhode Island or Delaware. It stretches from the town of Jupiter to the north to Boca Raton to the south, and from the Atlantic Ocean to Lake Okeechobee."
She continues, "The Palm Beach County School District has an outstanding record of service to children with disabilities. The district serves approximately 34,700 Exceptional Student Education (ESE) students. Eligible students are provided services from birth through age 22. Exceptional Education classes are located at all school sites with inclusion being a high priority.
Palm Beach is one of the few school districts to provide families of children with disabilities a Parent as Liaison (PAL). PAL’s are specially trained parents of children with disabilities. They are contracted consultants for the Department of Exceptional Student Education (ESE) and the Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS). As parents of children with special needs, they understand your concerns, and can help provide parents and school staff with up-to-date information, resources, and support.

Cathy notes, "Whether your interests are educational, recreational or occupational, Palm Beach County has programs and facilities to meet your individual needs."
