With the recent annexation of a very large tract of forest land, Leland is well on its way to becoming the largest municipality in Brunswick County with a projected population of 20,000.
And if that is not enough to peak your interest in the Leland area, the sport of golf is in full swing (pardon the pun) in Southeastern North Carolina. Brunswick County is home to 30 championship golf courses. You will find many more golf courses nearby in the Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC areas.
