Jump Links

Real Estate UD has employed the use of a jump link on each page. This jump link has been included for the purpose of ease of maneuvering around pages on the web site. Having access to the jump link gives site visitors using assistive technologies the option of bypassing repititous reading of the navigation bar.

Use of JavaScript

JavaScript has been implemented on realestateud.com in several areas of the web site : Registration, Property Listing Setup, The MARKETPLACE ad setup. These web pages are not accessible when viewed with assistive technologies.

Specifically, JavaScript is used for form validation. The primary purpose of JavaScript is to ensure that all data contained in each ad on Real Estate UD adheres to standards required for proper data collection.
